BrightRegulator
With this new function, available for
the first time with the PrimEdge series,
a sensor on the front bezel takes a
reading of the ambient brightness and
then signals the backlight to adjust the
screen brightness accordingly. In a
brightly lit room, BrightRegulator
increases the monitor's brightness
level, whereas in a dimly lit room it
will decrease the brightness level,
thereby saving energy and reducing eye
fatigue. BrightRegulator can be disabled
in the OSD menu for users who prefer a
constant brightness level regardless of
ambient lighting conditions.

Touch Auto Setup
When the monitor initially detects an
analog signal, it automatically adjusts
clock, phase, screen position, and
resolution. This ensures optimized
screen settings without the need to use
the OSD menu. |

 Streamlined
Design
PrimEdge series features a thin bezel
cabinet design with a folding stand that
moves in and out for quick adjustment of
the tilt angle to the most comfortable
position. For mounting with optional
arms or stands, the stand collapses
against the monitor and therefore does
not need to be removed as with
conventional monitors. The power supply
unit is built into the monitor so there
are no extra parts or cords to stow
away. |

 Digital
and Analog Inputs
Inclusion of both DVI-D and D-Sub
terminals allows the monitors to be used
with a computer incorporating either a
digital or an analog graphics card - or
both, if two computers are connected at
the same time. The user can switch
between the two inputs by pressing a
button on the front bezel.
